The Alpiner Hoodie was designed to be your to-and-from, go to. Whether on the way to the gym, the design studio or high on the top of a craggy alpine mountain range. It’s an easy wear in flight / on the fly and has a merino lined hood for that extra luxe feel.

This hoodie is warmth, comfort, style and ease all wrapped up into one height hitting wonder garment.

In cahoots with the team at Manawatu Knitting Mills, Opus Fresh is proud to present a new addition to the gender neutral range - The Crew Sweater.

Crafted from a blend of Possum Fur, Silk and New Zealand Merino Wool, detailed with the signature Opus Fresh organic leather patch.

Tech Specs:

Made from a 70% Merino, 20% Possum, 10% Silk blend.
The unique blend of possum fur and merino lamb’s wool creates a piling retardant fibre. Possum fur is low-pill and anti-static which means the garment can be worn throughout the years and still look as new as the day it was purchased.
Possum fibre will not freeze, even when exposed to periods of prolonged cold. The only fibre on the planet known to have the same characteristic is Polar Bear fur.
Signature 'Mountain Geometric' Leather patch.
The brushtail possum was introduced to New Zealand in the 1850s and is now wreaking havoc on our natural wildlife and native forest. The need to control the number of possums to protect our native flora and fauna saw the development of this NZ exclusive, specialised natural fibre.
Possum fibre has no scales and is hollow, which gives both lightness and warmth, compared to other natural fibres of a similar micron.
Possum fibre is silky to handle providing an instant feel appeal unlike any other fibre.
The MKM boasts a 141-year tradition of creating finely crafted accessories.

Made in the rural heartland of Manawatu in the central North Island of New Zealand.

Warmth and luxury

I was looking for a winter sweater, warm but not overwhelmingly thick. No luck in Auckland. Then, while waiting for a train in Ohakune, I came across Opus Fresh at the station. A fab small store in an unexpected location. In there, I found a lovely and warm, thin, comfortable-to-wear mix of merino, possum and silk, in a colour that I actually like. And, my wife says, it’s stylish. So I feel very satisfied. Janelle’s offer of a free coffee was like a cherry on the icing on a cake.

COMFIEST, CLASSIEST SWEATER EVER!

My husband is VERY happy with his birthday gift. He wears it every day and says he feels great in it. It's really soft, but not scratchy, warm for our Ohakune cooler days and keeps his temperature regulated during warmer times. He LOVES the colour too! This is the perfect length for his 6'3" frame and the arm length is 100% spot on. Couldn't be happier with my purchase - I have a very happy husband! Thank You Opus!
