YKK Full zip, meticulously patterned with reinforced seams in a premium mid-weight brushed-back Merino sweat-shirting. Temperature regulating, comfort, style and ease all wrapped up into one wonder garment.

Relaxed long line cut (not short or boxy)
Premium mid-weight, Brushed-Back, 240gsm Merino (warmer than its weight would suggest & about as comfortable as any garment can get)
XL hood for crispy mornings (or airport snoozing)
Reinforced thumb hoops on the cuffs for comfort and function (or pop them off and you won't notice they're there)

Great sweatshirt - I’m ordering more!

I got the hoodie about a week ago and haven't taken it off since. It is very comfortable and it fits great! I’m ordering more. The pull strings on the bonded olive are reflective, which is a nice touch. The hood is nice and deep which allows for comfortably wearing hats underneath.

Notes about the fit: it is not a baggy zip up hoodie, i wear mine with a tee-shirt under and there is not much room for more than one layer under it. I am 5’9” and about 165 lbs; the medium fits me perfect. The sleeves fall a little past my wrists and the hem falls to about my hip.

Crafted from a blend of Possum Fur, Silk and New Zealand Merino Wool, detailed with the signature Opus Fresh organic leather patch.

Tech Specs:

Made from a 70% Merino, 20% Possum, 10% Silk blend.
The unique blend of possum fur and merino lamb’s wool creates a piling retardant fibre. Possum fur is low-pill and anti-static which means the garment can be worn throughout the years and still look as new as the day it was purchased.
Possum fibre will not freeze, even when exposed to periods of prolonged cold. The only fibre on the planet known to have the same characteristic is Polar Bear fur.
Signature 'Mountain Geometric' Leather patch.
The brushtail possum was introduced to New Zealand in the 1850s and is now wreaking havoc on our natural wildlife and native forest. The need to control the number of possums to protect our native flora and fauna saw the development of this NZ exclusive, specialised natural fibre.
Possum fibre has no scales and is hollow, which gives both lightness and warmth, compared to other natural fibres of a similar micron.
Possum fibre is silky to handle providing an instant feel appeal unlike any other fibre.
The MKM boasts a 141-year tradition of creating finely crafted accessories.
Also available in Silver Grey or Otter Marle.

COMFIEST, CLASSIEST SWEATER EVER!

My husband is VERY happy with his birthday gift. He wears it every day and says he feels great in it. It's really soft, but not scratchy, warm for our Ohakune cooler days and keeps his temperature regulated during warmer times. He LOVES the colour too! This is the perfect length for his 6'3" frame and the arm length is 100% spot on. Couldn't be happier with my purchase - I have a very happy husband! Thank You Opus!

Enjoyed across generations

I have two colours of this and they are wardrobe essentials that bridge the seasons and bring outfits together. My 96 year old Mum has two and uses them for everything… she’s arthritic in the shoulders so finds them easier to and more stylish to wear than cardigans and even puts them on her bed as a throw as well in autumn for extra warmth when it gets colder.

Love this neck warmer

I received this neck warmer as a gift from a friend who was visiting NZ. I loved it so much I bought one for another friend who loves to do outdoor activities in Colorado. It is warm, light weight and soft. It is not bulky, so it is easy to zip up your jacket for extra protection from the winter weather. Absolutely love this neck warmer!

Incredible jacket

my favourite item of clothing
